There are many types of wires, which can be divided into many types according to different applications. Compared with wires for other purposes such as engineering, household wires have relatively lower requirements for the functions of wires. Specifically, household wires are classified as follows.
Hard wire: professionally called BV wire, mainly used for power supply, lighting, sockets, air-conditioning, and suitable for cables and wires for communication voltage 450/750V and below power devices, household appliances, appearance and telecommunications equipment. Hard wire has a certain degree of hardness, it will be more convenient in terms of bending and straightening
Flexible wire: Professionally called BVR wire, it is suitable for cables and wires used for communication voltage 450/750V and below power devices, household appliances, appearance and telecommunications equipment, such as distribution boxes. Flexible wires are more complicated to manufacture than hard wires, and high-frequency circuit flexible wires have a larger carrying capacity than hard wires.
Hard and soft wires (weak wires) are composed of a single and several copper core wires, and generally refer to network wires, wires and cables with relatively low voltage.
